Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children. (Isaiah 66:7–8) Matthew 24:8 Some sages understood this text to indicate that the Messiah must have been born before the destruction and before the current exile began. An opinion in the Midrash Rabbah explains, “‘Before she travailed, she brought forth’ means that before Titus was born, the Messiah was born.” Targum Yonatan interprets the verse in a similar manner: Before distress cometh upon her, she shall be redeemed; and before trembling cometh upon her, like the pains upon a woman in child-bearing, her King shall be revealed. (Isaiah 66:7, Targum Yonatan) There is more than just metaphor here. Yeshua hints toward a spiritual connection between his physical body and the House of God. The Temple is bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. Remember what happened when Yeshua breathed his last? The curtain of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom: our sins not concern of the heathen destroyed the temple (Zohar Bereishit I:61b) Likewise, on the day that the Master suffered, the sun turned dark at noon: The light of the sun departed from the world since the day when the Temple was destroyed, as is hinted in the verse [Isaiah 13:10]: “The sun will be darkened in its going forth.” (Zohar I:196b) The Hebrew from Isaiah could be read, “The sun will be darkened in HIS going forth.” It’s no coincidence that these things happened in the Temple at the moment that the Master’s body died. Hadn’t he already said, “If you destroy this temple” in regard to his body? Isn’t it also true that his followers are called the Body of Messiah and Temple of the Holy Spirit?These much-later mystical passages seem to inadvertently hint toward a correlation between the crucifixion of Yeshua and the destruction of Jerusalem. The correlation is real. Both Yeshua and the Temple were handed over to the Romans for destruction. The rabbis explained that the Temple was destroyed for the sins of the nation: Woe to the children, on account of whose sins I destroyed My house and burnt My temple and exiled them among the nations of the world. (b.Brachot 3a) The sages also saw the destruction of the Temple as a substitute (an atonement, so to speak) for the nation.The Temple had not sinned. It did not incur God’s wrath. The nation sinned. But God destroyed the Temple in place of the nation so that he could spare his people: The Holy One, blessed be He said, “I have made a condition with them that if they sin, the Temple will be seized in pledge It is not because I am in debt to the heathen nations that I have pledged my tabernacle to them, but it is your iniquities that have caused Me to hand my sanctuary over to them.” (Exodus Rabbah 31:10)Likewise, regarding our Master. It was not because God owed Yeshua’s life to Rome or needed to make some payment to the Romans, but because of Israel’s iniquities that the Messiah suffered and died. The midrash makes the relationship between the destruction of the Temple and the atoning value of the death of Messiah even more explicit: the day of lamentation For this reason, Messianic Jews should make it their custom to study the story of the Master’s death on Tisha b’Av. Moses said to God: “Will not the time come when Israel shall have neither Tabernacle nor Temple? Miriam, Aaron, Korach, 250 Levites What did king David Do? 21 He is to present himself to El‘azar the cohen, who is to find out by means of the urim what Adonai’s will is for Y’hoshua’s decisions. Then, at his word they will go out, and at his word they will come in, both he and all the people of Isra’el with him, the whole community.” 22 Moshe did as Adonai had ordered him. He took Y’hoshua, put him before El‘azar the cohen and the whole community, 23 laid his hands on him, and commissioned him, as Adonai had said through Moshe.

Tell the people of Isra’el to bring you a young red female cow without fault or defect and which has never borne a yoke. it is to be brought outside the camp and slaughtered in front of him. Yeshua was sacrificed outside the camp, to deal with the ultimate contamination of death, and His shed blood provides the ultimate purification for humanity. Romans 6:23 23 For what one earns from sin is death; but eternal life is what one receives as a free gift from God, in union with the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord... The Red Heifer that purifies us from all unleannessand sinful rebellion and disobedience. Parallelsbetween the Red Heifer and Yeshua: Spotless and Blemish-Free, the spotless Lamb of God. Never Having Borne a Yoke(work), Yeshua never subjected to the yoke of sin or the bondage of human religious systems or beast system. Sacrificed Outside the Camp, Yeshua outside the city gate. the Red Heifer's ashes/water cleansed and purified from those who became ritually dead thru contact with a dead person or animal. Yeshuas sacrifice and shed blood cleanses humanity from the ultimate defilement of spiritual death and sin. The heifer was burned with cedar, hyssop, and scarlet wool. The torture stake was wood, the hyssop as in Pesach placed the blood on the doorposts, the doorposts were wood, The blood was scarlet, Isaiah 1:18 18 “Come now,” says Adonai, “let’s talk this over together. Even if your sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow; even if they are red as crimson, they will be like wool. In biblical typology, the three elements burned with the Red Heifer—cedarwood, hyssop, and scarlet yarn—are the exact same elements used to cleanse lepers (Leviticus 14). they directly foreshadow the scene, instruments, and purpose of Yeshua’s sacrifice and shed blood on the torture stake. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for yourselves; for it is the blood that makes atonement because of the life.’ the sacrifice on the torture stake of Yeshua (Jesus) is believed to have primarily accomplished the atonement and forgiveness of sins for humanity. By serving as the ultimate, unblemished sacrifice, His death reconciled humanity with a holy God, overcoming the separation caused by human disobedience life for life

THE STAFFS The rebelling leadership, leaders of the 12 tribes, the levites, the Cohain and the High Preist. 3 They assembled themselves against Moshe and Aharon and said to them, “You take too much on yourselves! After all, the entire community is holy, every one of them, and Adonai is among them. So why do you lift yourselves up above Adonai’s assembly?” 4 When Moshe heard this he fell on his face. 5 Then he said to Korach and his whole group, “In the morning, Adonai will show who are his and who is the holy person he will allow to approach him. Yes, he will bring whomever he chooses near to himself.  (1) Adonai said to Moshe, 17 (2) “Speak to the people of Isra’el, and take from them staffs, one for each ancestral tribe from each leader of a tribe, twelve staffs. Write each man’s name on his staff; write Aharon’s name on the staff of Levi, for each tribe’s leader is to have one staff. The staff of the man I am going to choose will sprout buds — in this way I will put a stop to the complaints the people of Isra’el keep making against you.” (6) Moshe spoke to the people of Isra’el, and all their leaders gave him staffs, one for each leader, according to their ancestral tribes, twelve staffs. Aharon’s staff was among their staffs. Moshe put the staffs before Adonai in the tent of the testimony(The Ark of the Covenant) (8) The next day Moshe went into the tent of the testimony, and there he saw that Aharon’s staff for the house of Levi had budded — it had sprouted not only buds but flowers and ripe almonds as well. It is to be kept there as a sign to the rebels, so that they will stop grumbling against me and thus not die.” (12) But the people of Isra’el said to Moshe, “Oh no! We’re dead men! Lost! We’re all lost! 28 (13) Whenever anyone approaches the tabernacle of Adonai, he dies! Will we all perish?” 19 All the contributions of holy things which the people of Isra’el offer to Adonai I have given to you, your sons and your daughters with you; this is a perpetual law, an eternal covenant of salt before Adonai for you and your descendants with you.” 1/10TH OF 1/10TH 21 “To the descendants of Levi I have given the entire tenth of the produce collected in Isra’el. It is their inheritance in payment for the service they render in the tent of meeting. 23 Only the L’vi’im are to perform the service in the tent of meeting, and they will be responsible for whatever they do wrong. This is to be a permanent regulation through all your generations. They are to have no inheritance among the people of Isra’el, 24 because I have given to the L’vi’im as their inheritance the tenths of the produce which the people of Isra’el set aside as a gift for Adonai. This is why I have said to them that they are to have no inheritance among the people of Isra’el.” 25 Adonai said to Moshe, 26 “Tell the L’vi’im, ‘When you take from the people of Isra’el the tenth of the produce which I have given you from them as your inheritance, you are to set aside from it a gift for Adonai, one tenth of the tenth. 28 In this way you will set aside a gift for Adonai from all your tenths that you receive from the people of Isra’el, and from these tenths you are to give to Aharon the cohen the gift set aside for Adonai. 29 From everything given to you, you are to set aside all that is due Adonai, the best part of it, its holy portion.’ because it is your payment in return for your service in the tent of meeting. Numbers 14: The 12 Spies/the people, community of Israel 5 Moshe and Aharon fell on their faces before the entire assembled community of the people of Isra’el. 10 But just as the whole community were saying they should be stoned to death, the glory of Adonai appeared in the tent of meeting to all the people of Isra’el. 11 Adonai said to Moshe, “How much longer is this people going to treat me with contempt? What is “Contempt” in Hebrew? How much longer will they not trust me, especially considering all the signs I have performed among them? 12 I am going to strike them with sickness, destroy them and make from you a nation greater and stronger than they are!” What was evidence of the Glory of God? Exodus 33,34 18 But Moshe said, “I beg you to show me your glory!” 19 He replied, “I will cause all my goodness to pass before you, and in your presence I will pronounce the name of Yehovah. Moses read this document aloud to the Israelites in a covenant ratification ceremony just before the Ten Commandments were placed on stone tablets. Nothings changed in 3500 years, we fail to remember all that Yehovah has done in our lives, his blessings, deliverance from the beast system, delivering us from the slavery, bondage, chains of this world. We forget. God proved and tested everyone here from Moshe, Aaron, the heads and leaders of the tribes and the whole community of Israel. Remember the goodness of God towards you. take account of all the goodness of God throughout the days and years of your life. the number 40 signifies transition, gestation, and spiritual transformation.
