The word Noach is related to the Hebrew word for “rest.” Genesis 5:29 says that his parents named him Noah (Noach, נח) because they hoped their son would give them rest (nacham, נחם) from their toil. Noach was a man righteous and tsaddiq: Righteous, justצַדִיק Contrast with the Wicked Tsaddiq is regularly set over against רָשָׁע (rasha). “The reward of the righteous is life, the wages of the wicked are punishment” (Proverbs 10:16). The polarity clarifies moral choices and their destinies. Noach walked with God. In Hebrew, "halacha" (הֲלָכָה) literally means "the path that one walks" or "to walk" and is the collective body of Jewish law, customs, and practices. It derives from the Hebrew root H-L-K (ה-ל-ך), meaning "to go" or "to walk," emphasizing the idea of following a path of guidance through life. God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. He spoke and and the words formed and created the physical world. We are to image, reflect the attributes of Yehovah. As Moshe was instructed to speak to the rock thus speaking into existence with audible words, frequency to form and to shape into existence water to flow from the rock, so are we. Yehovah spoke into existence repeatedly in Genesis and continues to today! God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy; because on that day God rested from all his work which he had created, so that it itself could produce. Not the first, the third or the 5th...the 7th. He didn't struggle over deciding Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. Those days didn't exist. Up until today, modern era the cycle of the 7th day remains the same. Who is man to change Yehovah's days and times. God, took the person and put him in the garden of ‘Eden to cultivate and care for it. to guard, care for it is in Hebrew Shamar the same as to keep my mitzvot/commandments.
