Academic Truth
Knowledge and learning are essential to functioning and surviving in this world as eating is to nourishing and sustaining ones physical well being. The question is what are we feeding our minds on, what are we actually learning? Does it sound good, is it true or is it information thats been constructed to sound good in order to persuade you to conform to an agenda. Its the difference between eating natural organic foods vs GMO's. In the end, if its natural it will produce a good healthy outcome. If its GMO's your not going to get the adequate nutrients so eventually the body will break down. When you receive information from any source on a particular subject matter do you just believe it? Or, do you take the time to apply the mechanics of critical thinking to vet the subject matter. Have you pursued opposing information that counters the material? We will take subject matter reference books or videos etc. and by example illustrate how we break down the logic and proof test its legitimacy. Two interesting statements, 1. " Anybody can say anything about something but that doesn't make it true!" and 2. " Have you been indoctrinated or educated? "If you cannot show the sound reason and logic upon which a premise is made, then you need to scrutinize it further, but how? A good example is Darwin's theory of evolution. Darwin observed examples of micro evolution within species and arbitrarily applied that model on a macro level. As new advances occurred in the field of micro-biology, more and more scientists have
acknowledged that the age of the earth and the multiple generations of mutations needed for numerous species to evolve relative to the age of the earth is mathematically impossible. In an attempt to illustrate Academic truth we will take specific subject matter with differing viewpoints and show where they agree, where they disagree. We will show opinion vs opposing facts, and theory verses the unavailability of legitimate facts as well. Wherever books, video's, documentaries or academic papers or links can be accessed we will refer you and encourage you to think, reason and come to your own conclusions!
