
Personal Truth
We are conceived not of our own free will, but of who? How did the relationship, events and circumstances of our parents lives affect our development? Were we affected by events during the gestational period? As we entered into the natural/physical realm a profound story had begun to be written. What elements shaped our life as a newborn baby, infant, toddler, child, and teenager that thrusted us into adulthood? How does humankind process life's traumas, struggles, relational dysfunctions as they unfold during those developmental years? Here we will attempt to uncover the mysteries that lie deep in our sub-conscious. Enter into and try to understand what triggers our actions and reactions to the people we engage with socially, in our work, family and our intimate relationships. Is our perception of our world and those we interact with based on reality or a fantasy thats been distorted by the negative affects that have been passed down to the third and fourth generation? We will build content here to help you on your journey of understanding what made you who you are and what were the elements that contributed to forming and shaping you into the person you've become. Where self realization and change is necessary to pursue a fuller life, resources will be recommended in book form, self help materials, videos, and links to self help and self improvement sites. We will encourage you to draw from the springs of living water where there is an eternal supply of satisfaction and a quenching from which you will thirst no more. These are no pie in the sky answers, its work, its heavy lifting for some. Its investing your time, energy and effort and a sincere hearts desire and willingness to effect change in your life. Herein the age old quote rings true......
"Know Thyself". Once you understand why you do what you do, by uncovering that which made you who you are, you can begin to reconcile your behavior. Then begin to accept yourself and love yourself for who you are with your strengths, weaknesses, good points and bad points. Ultimately enabling you to love others despite their imperfections in a fresh and new way fulfilling the ancient words of the Torah...
